Jacquemus, a master in the art of communication, has partnered with many brands during 2022. Focus on the art of co-branding with Jacquemus.
What is co-branding ?
Co-branding is a common practice nowadays. It is the association of two brands, usually independent, from which comes a product from the fusion of the two. In the marketing sense, it aims to promote the brands or products of two different companies simultaneously. This collaboration can be advertising or through a promotional operation associating the two brands, but here we speak more of co-marketing.
The Jacquemus brand, named of its creator, founded in 2009, is growing rapidly. From the lavender fields of Provence to the beaches of Tahiti, Simon Jacquemus manages the image of his house like a chef. With his success, we have seen many collaborations with Jacquemus in the year 2022. If collaboration is a sign of success, we're sure that Jacquemus is a well-oiled machine.
Why do we love it ?
The number of Jacquemus collaborations in 2022 can no longer be counted on the fingers of one hand. From streetwear to homeware, the Jacquemus signature is a sign of success wherever it is imposed.
Each collaboration is meticulously chosen. Simon Jacquemus stays in his own world and public love it. Wherever he imposes his signature, we find a part of the house's identity. These collaborations are not detrimental to the brand, on the contrary, they diversify its clientele.
The success of these collaborations is also due to the fact that the image of the Jacquemus brand is firmly established. The Jacquemus name itself is a guaranteed success. The combination of Jacquemus' communication genius and the showcasing of the items on social networks makes for a real success.
Example of collaboration
At the end of June, the long-awaited exclusive collection between Jacquemus and Nike was released. The teasing on Instagram had already made consumers' mouths water and they snapped up the entire collection within hours. The key to success, an affordable price range and a super icon as the face of the campaign: the English singer Jorja Smith.
Jacquemus took its first step into the world of the home in its collaboration with the Danish brand Tekla. The result is a collection of bedding, towels and homewear. The collection is made of 100% organic cotton and French linen and comes in stripes and shades from blue to brown. The two brands share a minimalist aesthetic and Jacquemus has added a playful touch.
